I lost my master key and now all I have is 1 valet key. The dealership wants $60 for a new key, $150 for a key with remote plus $60 to program the remote. Key I buy an uncut master key off ebay and have a locksmith cut a master based on the valet key? Also, does anyone know how to program a remote, and what part number remotes will work with the 95 sc300?

 

I bought a key from eBay for 9.99 and got it cut for 30 bucks.
I decided to not get the key with remote because it was so expenseive to program at Lexus.

I wonder if you can program akey outside of Lexus.....

 

Did they use another master to cut the key, or a valet? If they used a valet, does it open your trunk?

Is it's like the GS, and prob most other Lexus', you need another masterkey to program another masterkey.
