Smile Help on programming SC400 93 Remote Key

Hi everyone. i am fairly new to the Lexus forums. I just recently recieved a 93 Sc 400 from my aunt as a present. I only have 1 master key with the remote. My mom wants me to make another Master key with the remote as a spare to leave at home just in case. I just recently purchased a Key on ebay that was uncut and has the single button on the side. I can get it cut at my local key store. But i want to know if i could program the button myself without shelling out $$$ at the dealers. THe FCC ID matches the one i currently have. Someone please help me. I read other forums stating that only the 95 and up could be programmed and the earlier models had to be dealt with at dealer. Someone please help me. Thanks.

If there is, could someone post up the instructions on how to program? I was looking around other forums but i want to make sure.

use the search tool, the procedure is the same for all early model LS, ES, SC and GS that use the single side-button remote key.
