Default Help! All Electronic Devices Killed

Changed battery for my 91 LS 400 but connected it to the wrong sides, the negative and positive sides switched. Everything was killed instantly and now the car only starts with signs of electricity. All lights, turn signal lights, radio, power doors, power windows, power seats, instrument panel and air conditioning are dead but only the emergency lights work. Any of you experts know how to fix it?

In the engine compartment, there are large amp fuses. These are not the spade type that one can pull out. On a friend's SC, who reversed the battery, I had to take the fuse out by undoing 10mm nuts.

Default Thanks for your help

Salimshah and PureDrifter,
Thanks for your tips. I found in the engine compartment that three fuses were burnt. Two small ones are 15A, for the door and 10A and a big white one on the left side is 60 A which controls most of the instruments. It did take some effort to pull them out, but once they are out, it is easy to see that the metal is burnt. I will try to buy and replace them tomorrow. Thanks again for your help.
