Default Electrical connector help

Good day all... I need some help understanding electrical connectors and how they apply to a wiring diagram. What im trying to do is swap out a 99 GS400 Pio radio(non Nav) for a 2004 non nav radio.

I have the connectors( 20 pin,10 pin, 6 pin,) the two wiring diagrams for the 99 and 2004 radios but not seeing or understanding how to follow the diagrams to correctly wire them together.

any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Why are you swapping a newer stereo into your older car? Why didn't you go with an aftermarket unit? And there are wiring differences between the two years, so you'd need the wiring harnesses as well as the head unit and amplifier and maybe even the CD changer.

Any advantages of the new stereo over the old one?
