I just picked up the Eclipse 5435 Nav unit, the Eclipse BEC-105 backup camera and the Sirius sat radio... Im having everything installed this weekend by a local shop. I cannot wait to get it all in im just worried that the shop will do everything right and clean... I was orignally hoping to mount the backup camera in the rear keyhole in the trunk but i think that requires a different type of camera but this new eclipse bec105 is very small so if the installer tells me its not going to work, i'll just have him mount it right above the rear license plate...

You guys have any other suggestions where i should have him mount the camera and the antenna for the sirius? The antenna for the sirius is just a small little square looking magnet...

just have the guy run the sirius antenna to the outside of the car like usual. they're pretty sturdy when it comes to weather

Or can i put it inside the car? Like up on the back deck near the rear window?

 

I bought the BEC camera for my setup but decided it was too bulky to put on the back of my car... I think the one you have is a newer smaller version, but don't think it'll go into a keyhole. Since I had other plans for the aux a/v input, I used the wiring from the BEC camera and my installer spliced the wiring onto a more traditional keyhole (lipstick style) camera.

Sorry, I don't have Sirius hooked up to mine.
