boss alternators problem question.
anyone using these alternators on there lexus ?
if so how was it ?
I dropped of my lexus to have the boss 175 amp alternator installed (i was to lazy to do it) with the new 4 guage power cable that i purchased from Lextreme (note: fast shipping on his be half) and a new 4 guage ground cable.
well when the install was done i was informed the alternator would not charge my battery and i could not run the ac, lights and stock stereo at idle before it died out in about 5 mins
i went over to the shop last night see what was going on and sure enough it would not keep a charge we installed the stock unit back in and no problems
if so how was it ?
