Default Average cost for two 10's?

I went to a local shop today and looked into two memphis Mclass 10's. In the store they sounded very nice but most likely they were hooked up to a huge amp. I asked them how much for the full setup and they told me $566 w/o install !! 680 with! These prices seemed very shady to me cus I had paper and pen with me and he never told me once how much each item costed. He only told me all this bull**** that I saved 50 bucks off the box when I bought the amp and so on. So how much should I be paying for a DECENT full setup?? Can i have a quality system for around $350-$450? BTW, i need to keep my stock headunit (TSX)

Cool

Be specific you didnt say whats all included , if youre getting 2 amps or if youre getting a good quality sub amp ,2 subs and a box then it might be a good deal also if youre getting wires parts and labor for a hundred dollars more thats a good deal also but be careful sometimes you get what you pay for so do what you feel comfortable doing if it dont sit well with you go elsewere ,shop wisely

Yeah it really depends on what products he quoted you for. You can buy alot of equipment for $680 so I would definitely let us know.

If by "system" you mean subs and amp, yes, you can.

My preference for subs is JLAudio. These can run you anywhere from $80 to $300 each.

For sub amps, I prefer Rockford Fosgate. They're clear enough for subs and you get a lot of bang for the buck. You can get decent sub amps from $150 and up.
