Default Double din or Flip out

I am debating on whether to get a double din tv or flipout for my 01 es300. Does anyone have pics of these radios installed on an ES300.

Thanks

I think a double din would look much cleaner

advantages and disadvantages to both, i myself chose a single din cuase i'm going to go with a 5.1 system. for now i have a pocket, which i have notice at least in the sc is REALLY useful, cuaes there is no other place to put random things. Double dins look like a cleaner install, like they were designed to go there.

Thing i REALLY hate about mine is that the screen covers the cliamte control.

another thing to consider is... if your flip out screen is going to block the air vents.

here in AZ, it's 110 degrees out. thankfully in the GS i can pop my screen out and still feel the vents.

for my gf's rav 4 that i put the pop out screen... no such luck. she has to decide which one is more important... where to go or how much to sweat while getting there. haha!

I think if I was to change my headunit I'd go with a double din. It would look cleaner and in my ES my screen flips up and blocks my vents.

Well everyone I decided to go with the Kenwood KVT-815dvd flip out. I really like the way it looks. I wanted to go with the double din but I got the flipout at a really good price. I had it installed yesterday. I will post pics soon.
