Default Same type of Problem Here

I have a 2002 GS300 with a 6 disk CD changer problem too. My deck does not see the changer anymore and I have CDs stock in the changer. I've been looking for the cause of my problem before I buy a new changer.
Can you give a little more info on your symptoms? My changer is just dead (no-nothing) and the radio deck doesn't register a changer anymore (nothing happens when I press the changer button on the radio).
I'm looking at other changer options but I want to keep everything "looking" original. I don’t what an extra control module stuck to my dash.
What have you come up with?
