Don't know what happened to the electronic ? section. Looking to upgrade the Nak sub in the rear. Will a 10" fit back there without mods. Or should I just replace it with another 8"?. Just want a bit more out of the NAK. not looking to add another set of 12"s to another car. How much should i run to the new sub. thoughts on brand sub and amp???? thanks.

Benny - Some of your questions R answered ( in general ) in the Lexus Q&A under the Audio forum. Quick thoughts - another 10" will require more power as the factory Pioneer is a strange 2 ohm model ( only about 50 wrms going back there to it ). The JL is my #1 choice but it's only available in an 8 ohm impedance so the stock Nak amp won't really push it ( review Ohm's Law here ). Get a good LLC to utilize the stock headunit & run it to an amp in the range of 150-200 wrms then to the upgraded sub. Pretty simple upgrade.

 

i swapped the stop 10" out of my 01 GS3. i dropped in a IDQ10" and a 160 fosgate amp. Im not a real fan of JL, thats why i went with Image Dynamics. Their speakers are a good bang for the buck. When i swapped my 10" tho i had to get a custom mounting bracket for it cuz the stop 10" has a wierd squarish metal bracket thats attached to it. Im sure they could juss drill holes in to ur rear panel, but i didnt like the idea of extra holes in my car when i could avoid it.
