Help on 92 sc300 amp/sub installation
So a buddy and I installed my Kenwood 7252 amp and a sub, but after we powered it up, the fuse located by the battery blew after 5 seconds. The fuse number was 30. I checked the power line, which is a 10 gauge, and there were no slits in it. I'm pretty sure we wired it right, but not 100% Since I have the stock head unit, we wired the RCAs to wires that went into the light blue and purple sub amp, which would be positive and negative. We also ran the remote wire to the wire that connects to the stock sub amp "big fat purple wire". We did not leave the stock sub amp in, but used the wires that would connect to the stock amp. Can someone tell me what went wrong?
