Default audio set up ?

I'm planning on getting an Eclispe AVN series head unit pretty soon... For those of you who have similar setups, is aftermarket amps, speakers, or subwoofer necessary? I am satisfied with stock sound quality and really want to just maintain stock sound quality? Will I be able to install this head unit without having to replace any other components and still be able to keep the stock sound?

Just get a Toyota wiring harness adapter kit (ebay, Crutchfield, etc.).
I can't understand whay you would put in such a great headunit such as an AVN and not upgrade the rest of the system. It's like putting racing fuel in a Yugo.

if u find the right plug..i hope u dont blow nothing..hooking up high lrvel speaker leads from the radio to the amp will most likly blow either ur radio or amp..(hook it up and play it for a few mins...see if ur radio gets hot quick as hell or ur amp..)..high current going into low current inputs =burnout..lexus radios are low level outputs..hook up a speaker b4 the amp and see how low the volume will be with the radio up all the way

just my .02

You won't be able to keep the factory sub since the Eclipse only has outputs for front and rear speakers (4 ch.).

You might have to add a small aftermarket amp to power the factory sub.
