does it only allow it when your in park? also are you looking for step by steps or just a gen. response.....
cause the only way i would see how to allow that would be to find which of the wires in your shifter control the dvd relay.....sorry if that isn't much help

it might have something to do with the parking brake, which is where 90% of the aftermarket units have their safety measure.

Default thks

after researching on numerous forums...havent found a step by step on how to enable dvd while car is in motion...from my research...the 04 rx330..has two wires. a motion sensor for the onboard gps and a wire for the handbrake....so it disables viewing of dvd if either one of them are active....soo...does anyone knoe how?

Post dunno about the motion sensor

im not sure how to fool the motion sensor except replacing it with some kind of toggle switch but with the hand brake wire, it can be rerouted to a place you prefer where it activates for an everyday usage.... like 88supra said, the majority of aftermarket dvd player have a wire that "must" be connected to the handbrake to prevent usage when driving, i'd say check the audio forum and do a quick search for rerouting that wire

lift your hand break to the first click, in most cars is shouldnt be enough to affect the motion of the car but will allow you to complete the circuit that allows the dvd player to engage

thks for the fast resplys..but im not completely down with the idea of having my hand break on while driving .....i figured the handbreak wire can be cut and grounded..the other wire im worried about is the motion sensor wire that is hooked up to the gps...has anyone made a toggle switch for this?...
