Default remote start with auto tilt steering wheel prob

hey searched through the forum but haven't found the answer yet

i have remote start on my 95 sc300, and if i have the auto tilt on, when i get out of hte car, it retracts just fine, when i remote start the car and then stick my key in the ignition the steering wheel doesn't come back down and go back into the original position. anyone have any ideas on this?

On my GS430 with remote start, I just push my memory preset button and it moves to the correct position that I've set.

Guys on the GS models if you hook up the keysense wire your wheel will come down to where it should be.
Might be the same for SC models not positive though.

I was thinking about remote start on my LS and wondering the same thing regarding the tilt wheel. I think I'd actually prefer that I have to hit the memory button - if it came down when it was remotely started, it would be in the way of me getting in the car. I'm not saying I can't fit if it's in the lower position - but exit/entry is definitely easier if it's out of the way.

what should happen though is that when you put the key in, then the steering wheel comes back down, not when you remote start the car. mine jsut isn't coming back down when i put the key in, i'll look to see what color wire that is.

1) Any one know how to accomplish this on a 98 SC300. which wires?

2) ALSO, Which RELAYS are required when setting up the 98 SC300?

3) My one issue is getting the car to think there is a key in the ignition when the starter turns the car on, without lowering the steering wheel until the key is inserted.

I successfully bypassed the transponder, I think, as the car starts when the key sense "tab" in the ignition is pressed with no key in the ignition.

Thank you for any help.
