im looking for a 1000W or more amp for my civic, im looking for a cheap amp, what brand should I go with? and whats the best or one of the best amps I can get for my LS400

i think the best bang for ur buck amp would have to be performance technique. im not sure how good the new ones are but the older ones are great.

Check out the older JBL or the current Fosgate amps on ebay, they are usually a good bang for the buck and usually makes the power they claim.

Get a an H.O. alternator and go with something smaller.

high output alternator. you can get em from various places. I put one in my manual SC when it was running 3 JL audio amps.

did you get your alternator rewound or a New one ?? and where did you get yours ? OhioGen ?? thanks

I went with a PHR 175 amp alternator:

Now, for my 93 SC I have a spare alternator and will be sending that one out to be reworked. Alot cheaper.

I got a fosgte 800a2 amp thats pushing over 1000 watts for sale $200 bucks
