Default **Update**Anyone ordered from this car stereo store

**Update 1/16/06**
I called them this morning about the order and was told that the amp is on backorder and they probably won't be receiving it until some time later this week. Great, how come I didn't get an email about this? Discourged, I went online to see if i can find it somewhere else which I did and cheaper too. I called that store and they confirmed that they have 10 in stock. I then call back to cancel the order and now the guys are telling me that it should ship today. Oookay so which is it, today or later this week? With a feeling that they're pulling my chains I went ahead and cancelled the order. They already charged my CC on Tuesday for an item they don't even have in stock. So just a warning to you guys...order at your own risk.

www.mobilesoundworks.com

I placed an order on Jan 8th Sunday night for an amp and amp wiring kit. Their site says the availability is 2-3 days to ship. A bit long but then I didn't need it right away so went ahead and placed the order. I got the order confirmation a little later that night. I check the order status on the third day (Wed) but it still said Processing. I checked the next day and still the same so I emailed them about my order. I still haven't gotten a repsonse but looks like my credit card was charged on Thursday. Order status on Friday still shows Processing.

Just getting a little impatient here. If the item was out of stock or on back order, a quick email informing me would be really nice. Also, isn't it bad practice to charge a person's CC before shipping the order?

I can vouch for crutchfield.com. Their customer service is unsurpass. If only they carried the amp that I wanted I would have ordered from them even though they're a bit more expensive than other online stores.
