Default CAlling all audio Guru's

HELP!!!

I did the carPC in my GS and with the sound card that i'm using sound is amazing. Even with the factory speakers. My only problem is that when raise the volume to try to get her loud, my amp goes into protect! Current Audio Specs:

Bull***** 360 watt 2 channel amp Running at 4 Ohm.

I switched out the factory sub for a 10" 200 watt Dual Sub. (Good ENough) I beleive it runs at 4 ohm

I'm still using the factory Door speakers I hear that they run at 2 ohm. Is this true?

Could the difference in ohm's be causing my amp to go into protect.

I know this probably belongs in the Audio forum but I hope you'll gimme a few days in the main forum before moving it...

Pioneer stock 4 inch speakers for GS are 2 ohm. That'll present some nasties in the system.

Are you using that single amp to run everything? And if so I don't see how can hook the sub and the door speakers to only 2 channels.

If you want to use just one amp for the whole system, look for a 5channel amp. 4 ch for door speakers and 1 for the sub.

I have all my speakers on one channel and my sub on the other. I'm just trying to get thru the winter until the weather warms up so I can do it right. Relocated all the "Brains" to the trunk and wire it up nice.
