depends on whether u have a nak or pioneer system. if u have pioneer u have 2 amps. if u have nak. the amp is under the cd changer. i believe for pioneer the amp is under cd changer and by the sub. YES there are headunits that wont "destroy" the dash. PM, email, or IM me and ill help u out.
