Default What speakers to get?

im deciding on what brand component speakers to get. my choices are diamond audio, mb quart, and infinity. im leaning more toward diamond audio because it can handle more power and is cheaper than mb quarts. i dont need too much bass since i have the sub for that, i just want crisp clear sound that i can hear when im standing outside of my car. so what do you guys recommend? im planning to keep fronts stock 4" and rear 5.25".
i was thinking:
fronts: diamond audio M641 or D641s
rears: diamond audio M651 or M551
what do you guys think or recommend?

Out of the 3 brands that you listed, I would go with diamond audio.

Check out the hex's, since they are discontinued, you could find them cheaper on ebay.

I like the Diamond Audio as well as Dyn. The only issue I have had in the past with Dyn is the mounting depth and the power they required.

Diamond Audio is very nice, especially this time around with their D9 series. I would HIGHLY recommend the Hex series over the Motorsports. The tweeters are not as bright and they can take more of a beating.

Another brand I would recommend you looking into is Hertz. They are made by the same company as Audison. They have a SUPER low mounting depth requirement.

Thats the major reason I bought them for my LS. And I did a system for my cuz's G35 with them and just floored by the sound.

I had the same mounting depth issue when installing the Dynaudio 240mkII and exchange them for 240GT for better fitment.
For D9s, I almost got them for my GS and the crossover is enormous (size of standard amp) and got the S600s instead and will found out later this week how it sound, my GS is in the shop at the moment.

dynaudio are great but sometimes you have to pick and choose what we spend our money on and what we dont.

Make your own crossovers. Then buy the dynaudio speakers. You'll save a bit of money this way.

Or pick up the speaks on ebay.

You know I have Dyns in my SC and Diamond Audio in my GS w/ basically same amp/sub setup, In my opinion I think the Diamond sound somewhat better than the Dyns.
