Okay, I've searched around with no luck. Found a few posts that were close but nothing with the answer I need. '01 RX 300 without factory CD player. Is the wiring/plug for the CD player there some where behind the glove box panel? If a factory CD player is purchased, can I just mount it and plug and play?

 

Well.........., after more searching online I found my answer at another Lexus club site. '01 RX 300s are pre-wired for the CD player from the factory. You can not just mount the player and go plug and play, the glove box must be replaced to fit around the player.
