Angry

I had a 12" alumapro and a memphis amp installed in my rx300 - very loud and solid. only problem - the installer claims he could not get rid of AC hum and could not get a good "stereo on" voltage. (the only line he could find would not deliver enough amps to switch on the amplifier)

Result - when at low volumes or off, the amp whines like a 6 month old - constantly !!! arg - very embarrasing to take someone in your lexus and hear a squealing while driving.

does anyone have similiar experience or suggestions for a turn on when stereo on - or voltage isolation ideas?

Default line driver? what about cd..

sorry, I don't know what a line driver is. they did take line level inputs from under the dash (vs off the amp).

Also, If I take the power antenna trigger, won't the amp only turn on with the radio? like no cd?
