Question Subs in my es300

I found a box on ebay with two 12in subwoofers (900watts) already preinstalled and ready to be hooked up to an amp. My question is is that two much bass for my es300 and what type of watt amp would you recommend?

What brand are the subs? You will pretty much get what you pay for.

i personally if i had the choice again would go with a W7 12" sub with the sealed box. Keep in mind that sub gets insane when it has the correct wattage run to it. Ive seen some with 2 w7's and there is just no need for that unless you are going to sound deaden the entire car and replace the stock speakers as well.

So I guess have three JL Audio 12w7's in a ported enclosure tuned @ 34hz is overkill?

Just think...that was my old setup

Oh yeah, a correctly tuned and ported 10" sub will outplay the DUAL subwoofer crap you found on Ebay. How much were you willing to spend?

yeah, I agree. I would rather go with one quality sub in a sealed box (im a sq fan) then those, you really get what you pay for!
you check out image dynamics ID10 or 12's, really good subs for the money (~$100 ea)

I am proably looking to spend about $200-$250 for the subs and the box.

How much does a custom box go for in your area? Do you have that silly gas tank behind the rear seat in your lexus? I know I have one in my 93 LS400
