Okay, it's probably impossible and rediculously costly, but does anyone know if you can put Lexus Factory xenon's or HID's in a 97 Es300?

yeah you can do it any car...they don't make factory hids for the ES...you would have to get aftermarket ones....I have aftermarket ones that cost me $495 dollars shipped to my house. You need a 9006 system and it is very easy to put together you get 2 wire harnasess for load balancing...2 ballasts for the charge (made by philips...really made by hella) and 2 osram bulbs that produce about 220 watts of light (bright as hell) if you need anymore info on install or where to get them let me know

Oh and by the way the hids come with the light assembly, you can't go to a dealer and say "yo i want some HIDS in this bitch"......and the light assembly for a 2000 and 2001 doesn't match up with the 97

Thankx Sounds like philips is the way to go. Some cheaper after market HID's I've noticed have a blue-hue that's "too blue" looks fake, compared to the factory xenon's which are more white than blue. I assume that's how the Philips' look? Just curious, what's standard wattage for stock bulbs, compared to the 220?
