Nice! Those are the db6500 Polk Audios right? I was also looking at those when I bought my Kenwood KVT 910 2 weeks ago. How are they treating you? And uhh while u have it open how do you feel about dropping in some dynamat hehe?

I love Polk db series...I love their soft dome Isilk?) tweeters and the smooth highs they give compared to the harshness of a lot of the other tweeters on the market.

how did the speaker fit in depth wise...did you have to cut out the back of the speaker box?? or is the magnet of the speaker bottomed out in the box??

They fit without cutting out back , just open up hole with dremmel to fit larger dia. speaker ....use Crutchfields to get speaker specs.

Just use speakers that have a high db rating and your stock system with power it with no problem.
