The 94 es300 needs a cd player as one did not come standard...

Any advice on those fm modulated units and can they be wired to play from the tape deck instead for better sound quality??

I don't want to pay for an aftermarket headunit / amp etc. install on this car...

Also any gurus know if the 94' was pre-wired to accept cd changer headunits and changers? I have not seen any "additional" wires..

 

You can add an FM modulated unit to almost anything. I use a kenwood unit before(dont know what model) Just go with a good quaility brand. The insall is somewhat easy but somewhat time consuming. There are 2-3 wires that you connect to the back of the stock deck to make it work.

 

Also check out the Alpine brand, they don't skip too easily which is a good thing!
