I mangled my antenna mast in a car wash the other day and need to replace it. Anyone know how it comes out? The top half broke off and the belt came out with it. Does the bottom half just pull out, or are there any screws or fasteners?

Also does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives to buying the antenna mast from Lexus? Keep in mind I do not need the motor, just the mast itself.

The mast will come out, just be sure to get the whole toothed belt strip that comes with it, otherwise you will have to take the assembly apart to remove the leftover piece.

If you need the mast, we have the OE for 45 bucks, not all that expensive considering you are getting the correct replacement part.


To replace it, you have to unscrew the nut at the top of the antenna assembly, put in the new mast then put the nut back on. Not too hard just be careful not to scratch the car!
