Hello,

would like to add a DVD video player to my 2002 SC 430 nav system. I've seen two interfaces which can be connected to the lcd and the sound system:
( http://www.avelectronic.com/products.htm - http://www.nav-tv.com/index02.htm ). They work as hubs with a/v inputs so you can connect a video / audio source like dvd or mp3 player and so on. Now a few questions :
1- How do they work with pal signals ? Is the denso lcd display compatible with pal signals Or do I need a dvd player which converts pal into ntsc?
2- The price for these things is a little high around $500 +, so I was wondering if there is an interface ( ex for toyota, nissan..) which can be adapted in order to work with my 2002 SC 430
