i have a problem. when i first install my deck into my 93 sc400 i followed the directions to which wires to tap and i ghetto rig it with electrical tape. it worked fine up until today when i had nothing to do so i decided to use t-taps for it. so i pulled my deck out and when i try to install it back (this is after i decided to go back to regular old electrical tape b/c the stock harness wires were too thin) the deck goes on then off then on then off and etc. so i tryed it out by directly plugging it to the battery and it worked fine. then i used a digital multimeter and theres voltage running through the power and other wire where you would tap to for visual. my friend told me to try to use a chassis ground cuz maybe the harness ground is not buff enough and so i did and the deck stil did the same thing. can anyone here help me why is my deck doing this. it cant be the deck, cant be the power wires, what else can it be? i be really appreciated if anyone can help me out here.
