My parents have a '91 Landcruiser. In preparing to have the truck exported to the Middle East in '95, I had a box custom built with 2 15"s to fit in the third seat area. It served me well until I took the speakers and amp with me to college. They liked the bass, so I got some cheap 15"s to fit in the old box. They've had it a couple years and use it occasionally. But the box is huge and really isn't practical for them. So I'm looking for a cheap sub+box, bandpass, or powered sub. I would like something small (10" or maybe 8" if the sub is efficient) and CHEAP. I was thinking along the lines of a bazooka, but I can't get a decent one under $300, according to Crutchfield. Do yall have a suggestion for anything $200 or, preferably, less? Sound quality is not most important (anything would complement the cheapo door speakers).

Thanks,

Brian

Question Bazooka Option

Brian - I've got an amplified 10" Bazooka that I put in my company vehicle (???) until I was told to remove it - about 2 months worth of usage. I only paid $195 for it so I can letcha have it for $125 ( special price to CL friends!! ). Just E-beam me if U R interested but it'll be Wednesday before I get in from work. I'm sure U know that the Bazooka is perfect for adding some simple low end but really isn't that tight - sounds like a good fit for your parents. Even put an amplified 8" in my 81 year old Dad's truck & he's happy!!

I came back from business in PHX to find my truck with standing water in it at the airport. thank god I didn't take the gs. Now I am either going to get another tacoma 4x4 extcab. or maybe a tundra 4x4?

Smile Real Lucky!

mG - God smiled upon me & my houses. Neither my primary residence in Alexandria nor either rental property in Baton Rouge got flooded - was VERY concerned about those 2 due to the flooding. Hope all is well with EVERY CL Member who lives in Texas & weathered this storm ( literally! ).
