Default Subwoofer box

Does anyone have pics of boxes that were put /fit in the GS trunks all the way back where there is a seperate section?

I installed a box yesterday, the box is sticking out a little-I wanted to see what is the best way to fix this...I am planning to get a peice of wood paint it black and mount it there so that will it will be a clean look.

I am not sure if I was clear in explaining this and I don't have any pics.

I already got the box...they are 10' subs. I just wanted to know how to set them up. I was going for a setup similar to the one in the 2nd link. But the box is not that big. It's just enough so that it will fit in that small area, but it is sticking out a little. I saw some pics of what I was looking for-the whole back area is covered with a big sheet and it is cut so that the trunk can be opened and closed with ease. My buddy suggested that i should cut a piece of sheet ( wood or metal) and paint it black so only the subs would be showing...again i am not sure if I am clear.

I just wanted to see some pics of any recent mods in the trunk...

Yes, that's how most of them are done, unless you really want to get fancy. You can use 1/2" or thinner MDF or plywood for the baffle. IMO the best look is done by getting some matching color carpet and covering the wood baffle. You can get the carpet at SoundDomain.com, Crutchfield.com, or prob many other places. It also depends on how much additional trunk space you're willing to lose, because once you put the baffle in, you won't be able to easily access anything behind it unless you go thru the trouble of taking the baffle back out. I also suggest using Velcro to hold the baffle board to the sub box, makes it easily removable.

If you do some searching there are pics buried in the various threads that show sub boxes and the various aesthetic treatments. If you spend some time, you'll get some good ideas.
