Default OMFG... SC Dash Kit???? Finally?

So 12 years later ... or at least the first I've seen... Has anyone installed this dash kit? I just found it on Crutchfield.com and it looks a little freakish for a dash kit...

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-SdqykTF...752#morephotos

...btw, I know they had a face plate on sc400tuner.com, but the site's down now. Anyhow, my kit is kinda frankenstein right now, and I'm hoping to clean it up... opinions on this kit? .. I mean, like will it fill that gaping hole below my AC controls?

I used a Honda Accord mounting kit with a pocket. I forget what year, but it was pretty easy to adapt to the car.

This ain't for the SC buddy. It's one of those kits you screw into the underside of your dash. It's ugly and I had one in my Pontiac...again, this IS NOT for a Lexus

UGH... This is universal. I wouldn't install this in anything less than a cop car or taxicab.

You realize you bolt this thing to your knee panel, right? It doesn't go in the center console.

newyorksc - no, I meant the radio kit, not trim.

well... this is what comes up from crutchfield... I guess it's not what every SC owner was looking for right? Oh well, guess it's still up to the custom jobs then... -- denied once again.

Fred Fred Fred...I don't know what to say...this thread should be locked immediately before anyone else comes in here thinking they found a dash kit for their SC

I had this ugly POS in my Pontiac back in 1993, why'd you think this would work on the SC's?? As a matter of fact I'll make an even more definitive statement: This kit cannot be used on an SC, period. It's design won't work for us.

I believe there is a kit available which works perfectly for us, perhaps being sold by Lexuspros?

yo thats to big to even go in your dash and if you could fit it in there there still would be a gap under the radio. thats an underdash housing for like custom mounts and boats and older vehicles.
