Default routing 4 gauge through a GS400

Where did you guys come in the car from the engine bay on your GS for the main power wire? I am going to install a sub at minimun and I was looking to run the 4 gauge today. Any ideas? Also where can I get a remote signal for the amp to turn on without pulling the headunit? I have navi and the stock speakers are fine for now, I want to upgrade the rear sub 1st. I already have the hi/low convertor... Any ideas for me>

THanks.

You can go through the rubber boot for the AC line, which is behind the glove box.
