Yes you can! The way I did mine was leaving all the connections in place on the stock amp and cutting off input and output connections to the stock amp. I have four RCA's coming from the head unit (L&R front/rear). I cut off sound input into the stock amp and ran it into the Alpine. Then I took the output from the Alpine back into the cabin to connect it to the four speakers (L&R front/rear). You must correctly identify all your wires. All the splicing is done right where the factory amp is, underneath the right front passenger seat. You cannot disconnect any of the harnesses from the factory amp. The head unit will not work properly.
Take a look at the diagram I uploaded for you.

wow.... smooch you got an amazing deal!!!! lucky you! The only thing i want to suggest to you is to get a 4 guage power cable, if your amp is 1000 watts i wouldnt feel comfortable with an 8 guage cable, at least thats what it looked like in the picture. But man you got a steal

just to let everyone know its a 91 with Nak....it seems to me that the amp for the sub is in the trunk on the top left? is this correct and if so can i still just replace that amp and use it for only my sub?

ive been looking around at intall places...no good deals yet ( I live in Medina Ohio)
