Did you know that you can get a diagnostics mode if your Lexus has a navi screen?

You can run a simple ECU check, show the voltage from the battery, show lots of GPS info including satellite reception, and much more.

Richard Scheffenegger who owns a Toyota Prius (that has the same system) was kind enough to show me this.

1) Apply the parking brake.
2) Turn the stereo on.
3) Press 'Display'.
4) Press each of the two marked areas in alternation three times (up, down, up, down, up, down). Do it SLOW. You have to wait almost a second between each press. Sometimes you have to do it more than three times.

Whilst in Park, press and hold 'info' button and then switch your park lights on and off three times.
