Question Need help finding a Nak amp for SC400

I have a 92 Sc400 I believe my Nakamichi amp is parshaly blown because my rear speakers no longer work (my sub still works) and i know they are not blown because there is no static in them, there is absolutly no sound at all ,one day they just stopped. Is there any way to actually tell if it is partially blown. Or is my rear speaker not working, caused by something else. I have also noticed that there is poping in my speakers when they are turned up. If my Nak amp is parshaly blown where can i find one for a good deal there are none currently on ebay.

My other question is do any of the other NAK amps work in the SC400 such as the GS400,LX470 or the LS400 ebay has all three of those.

You might want to check out this link.
Your problem may not be your Amp but just the connections under the rear seat.

Hope this helps.

are you talking about the phone cable being coroded under the back seat. On that site that is the only thing it talks about being under the back seat.

Default Stereo Connectors

They also show you the orange stereo connectors under the rear seat that may be corroded, as well as telling you to check the connectors at your amp in the trunk for corrosion.

So do the newer Nak amps (say for a LX470) fit a 92-96 SC400?

I just replaced my Nak Amplifier. I got one for $125.00 from BrickYard Imported Car parts.
Their web site is: http://www.brickyardimportedcars.com/

I just bought a 1992 SC400 (Maroon). and every problem that is discussed in thid forum, I have.
The CD-changer doesn't work, but my Mechanic says that he only needs to re-elign (something) to allow the cd;s to move in and out properly.
