Hello all,
I have a question regarding the remote start installation on the 01 LX470. Given the factory security system is the same on most of the new lexus,, when remote starting, the viper 791xv has to disarm the factory alarm first before remote starting the car, for that is there a way to disarm the car factory alarm without having the doors unlock first and then lock again ?
the installation I had done automatically unlocks the doors, remote starts and locks the doors after five seconds again. The installer told me that's the only way to bypass the factory alarm. I dont buy that. Is there another way ? if so would you kindly refer to a website with the diagram schematics on how to acheive that ? thanks much.
Also for those who have the remote starters installed in their 98 or newer lexus models, is that behavior normal ?
