My Alpine 9835 Install *pic*
Man, this unit sounds soo good compare to my old eclipse head unit. i'm still playing with the time correction seeing if i should set the time correction from the midrang which are in the door or should i set the time correction on the location of the tweeter which are higher up on the door. but on with the pictures. 1.
I freakin love the screen. SO clean and crisp during day and night.

nice HU., i own one
i use FF:-1.9ms and FR: -0.4ms. you can actually measure the distance between tweeters to your ideal listening position, then either use the time correction table in the manula or you can log in to i-personalize website and enter the distance, save the data, burn it into CD and upload it to your head unit. you can also se the crossover setting, EQ setting and opening message. this bada$$ HU can do everything but your laundry
btw, i use tweeter as my measurement since i consider higher frequency is the most significant tunes. you can start from there then you just adjust it manually by ear. have fun playing with it, its been 4 months for me and im not done setting it yet

thanks. its wierd, i have a first gen gs and the front right speaker is the furthest speaker for some odd reason, maybe from the points of where i'm measuring from. i have mine set to
1.4/0
1.7/.8
like i said its probly my crappy measurements. and for my rear speakers i'm also confused as to where i should measure from. my mids are in the rear door but i mounted the tweeters on the rear deck, the tweeters use to be right above the rear door handles but they were way to loud for front passengers. imagine the rear tweeter about 10 inches from your ear while sitting in front. and since i rarely have rear passengers i put them in the rear deck.

but off course! from your number, i can imagine your right ear is closer to rear right speaker than the fron right speaker, because on your seat positioning. like i said, you can start from your physical distance, then adjust it using your ear. ive been doing that for so many times, since it really depends on the song recording quality. some songs are just louder on the right channel for some reason. the point is, you have a lot of feature to play with, it makes less likely youll get bored and do upgrade! to make it more complicated, you can play with fader and/or balance as well to find your "best" listening position, if theres any
Glad you like it. I have the IVA-D300 and I love it. The time correction is an absolute awesome feature, you will never stop playing with it. Do you like how you can change the colors on the buttons and also the brightness of each color? Great purchase mang.
