radar detector cords

Hey...my friend just got me the escort 8500 x50 radar detector....I was wondering where everyone puts the cord....do ppl try to conceal the cord....it there a way to hide it...cuz sometimes it gets in the way..

This is for your 1997 Sc400 ?

On my GS I tapped power running to the mirror and hardwired it there so I wouldn't have the cord dangling down.

That is nice man! I am just scared to hardwire anything cuz I usually don't keep a car for long!
