I went into the dealership to have him check out a possible blown front speaker and since I've had it back my sound (bass primarily) seems significantly lower.. I have the Nav w/ the stereo upgrade... They said there was nothing wrong with my speakers and that they didn't actually do anything. But I think the guy turned down my amplifier or something... there is definately a major difference.

IS THERE SOMEPLACE ON THE AMPLIFIER THAT THE DEALER COULD HAVE TURNED DOWN THE POWER? I have the ML system in my GX and Im wondering if maybe the sound in the GS is just worse now since im comparing the 2... but I don't think so. HELP Any insight is appreciated. J

 

No. The only way to adjust the sound is from your head unit or from your Nav screen. The factory amp. don't have any adjusting in them. It's just a metal box with 3 connectors going in, that's it.
