I followed the directions I found on this site to remove my antenna mast and It won' t come out. I set the radio to AM turned off the car and held the AM and the CD buttons as I turn it back on. The radio displays ANT, I'm able to pull the mast out but the plastic cord that pushes the antenna in out and in will not come out? Does anybody have a solution?

Anybody?? Should I just pull on the cord really hard?
