1994 ES300 with the Premium sound system, thats what it says on the radio. A friend told me this was the Nakamichi system. True? Not true? Just curious if it could be, and if Nakamichi usually labels their systems on the outside.

 

Your friend was wrong, Nak stereo wasn't available in ES 300 untill 1998 I think, and it will have Nakamichi label on the controls.

 

ahh ok, then its just pretty much a souped up Pioneer?

Funny thing is that my first home CD player back in like 1989 had the six disc cartridge and was a Pioneer. The CD player has long since been trashed, but for some reason I kept all the CD cartridges that hold the CD's, like 4 of them. Well I was pleasantly surprised that they fit and work in my Lexus CD changer.
