Quik CD changer ??
I believe that the Pioneer changer from an ES will work with my Nak system. My CD changer is obviously not working and there is a pioneer unit from an es for sale for $150 in the classified section.
My question is would I be better off going with this unit or getting a different cd stacker and using an FM modulator, they are about the same price.
Any thoughts before I send a money order

If you purchase the ES300 changer you will need a new cable. I'd stay away from the FM modulator, it won't sound any better then a FM station. You could replace or repair your present factory changer with the same unit. I can refer you to someone who can help. Four Door.
I heard United Radio can completely rebuild your CD changer to new factory specs but nobody has had any experience with them.
BTW, I thought Quik made chocolate milk

the 92 to 96 es300 cd changer conversion is a plug in and play conversion with either nak or pioneer systems from 92 t0n 97 sc models. the only problem is the installing the es300 changer. .i found a slide out bracket that lets you install it facing forward just like the 12 disc . but if you mount it facing the inside of the trunk you dont need a special bracket but it sticks out a few inches into the trunk space.m every one who has converted to es 300 have been very happy with no more skipping and and the es300 changer does well on cdr burned cds.
Thanks to lexusaudio's advice I did this conversion. ES changer is excellent. It works well, hardly skips, and plays burned CDs. I didn't mount it yet. It sits on top of soft packing material next to the original SC changer.
