A fellow is selling his Nakamichi system on the GS Classifieds. I've got the premium system and I was thinking this might be a cheap upgrade. Do you think the Nakamichi sounds much better than stock? I assume I'd have to replace the speakers too to tell a difference. I remember some problem with noise or some kind of interference with the Nakamichi. I certainly wouldn't want it if had that problem.

So what do you think?

Thanks,

Brian

P.S. I don't have any money, but if this was truly a worthwhile upgrade, I might be able to squeeze some funds.

I remember reading that the NAKs FM performance was not as good as the standard Pioneer's tuner.

Brian,

Hope he's selling the wiring harnesses also. They're MUCH different than the Pioneer.

Nope, he's not including the wiring harness. I think I'm gonna pass anyway. A speaker upgrade would probably be a better use of money if I was to spend. I was thinking it might increase resale value a bit though.

I would just spend the money on aftermarket speaker upgrades. You will get better sound that way anyway.
