Default play station 2 in your car?

hey guys i was just wondering how many of you have ps2's in your cars? and where did you mount it? i just got a new in dash flip up tv and my options for dvd player are slim due to budget so i was thinkin about the ps2 and on the plus side i can play grand turismo 3 and need for speed under ground
i was kinda thinkin about the glove box but it looks like it will require a nice bit of modification any suggestions?????

thanks for any help

Mine's under my driver's seat. I had to take out the rear floormat, and the top is a little scratched up, but it works, and I haven't had any problems. The glove box sounds good, but you'd really have to cut it up, because the PS2 isn't gonna fint in there easy. Trunk would work, but then you'd have to stop, get out, etc every time you wanted to change games/movies. Feel free to ask me anything about the PS2 install. What screen did you get?

Do you have a CD deck as well. If you don't they have a DVD/ radio unit. Or if you just need the DVD player, I saw a 1/2 din DVD player for around 100 bucks. It looks pretty good too. I think it was at fry's electronics. Pretty good price. I think the PS2 is cool, but it would skip if you drive If I go down there anytime soon, I'll take a pic for you. IF. You might be able to do a search.

why not put it under the passenger seat? fits perfectly, and everything should be within reach of the driver. easy access to controls, all buttons, and more importantly, the cd tray.
