Need advice on upgrading system
Hey all,
So currently Im running 2 12" Rockford fosgate HE2's in the back, with a 1500 watt RF amp powering it. Alpine CVA1006 powering front speakers... Anyways while that amp looks like it has alot of power, it doesent seem to. Its just a little amp, and it overheats on me when I play it for more than like 30 minutes straight. So, Im looking to buy a new amp, would like your advice on what I should do. Im wondering should I buy a new amp for the subs, and use the RF to power the stock speakers, or will the stock speakers no be able to handle that power (or would it not make a difference) Or should I upgrade the stock speakers and buy a new amp? Im looking to spend no more than 300$ here, and I have no idea on what Im gonna do.
