Default NAV,dvd, mp3, radio, tv, etc...

i'm looking for an all in one unit....

i know some of you will recommend the pioneer avic-n1... which is cool i absolutely love the deck... but i've got an SC3 and so I'm going to have an extra 1.5 din (not just 1 din space... but 1.5!) and it's just way too ugly for me.

so iwas thinking of getting a custom flushmounted screen and getting all the hideaway units... but i'm tryin to see if this is a cost-efficient approach...

any ideas?

Seperate components would cost at least 2x more than AVIC-N1. If doing a seperate Pioneer system it would be:

AVH-P6600DVD $1600 MSRP or for custom flush mounting AVD-W6210 $750 MSRP
AVIC-88DVD $1700 MSRP

Even a Kenwood or Alpine system would be about the same price.

There should be a custom mount for 1.5 to 1 DIN for you with a pocket for the .5 opening or you could fabricate one for less than seperate components.

i was thinking of putting an EQ... and then dealing with just a .5 din... but i dunno
