Default Sc300 Head Unit Install Question

I got an aftermarket headunit as well as the custom face plate for a single din from sc300tuner....i was wondering what mods need to be done to install an aftermearket HU. I have done several searches on here but cannot find the answers I needed.
I have an aftermarket 2 channel amp gooign to a single 12w6 if that matters whatsoever.

I called a local shop and they said I need to bypass the factory amp, and this would require a part that costs around $60.

Is there anyway I could just get a wiring harness and install this part myself?

Is a part neccessary to do this install of is the place full of S. What steps would be needed to bypass the factory amp?.

lastly how much should this install cost me at a shop, being that I already have the part from sc300tuner so the single din will fit??

actually, im sure more people with Sc's that have installed aftermarket headunits in their cars come to the SC forums more than over to the audio section.

and Sc300ttttttttttttt, it looks like you need a friend in the automotive electronics industry.

it would also help if you get a cheap multimeter or an expensive one whichever your wallet wants. and make a speaker popper out of a 9v battery.
