I have a 95 GS300 and I am pretty damn sure that my amp is blown, damaged since only the 2 speakers up by the driver side work, and i can't imagine the speakers, and sub are dead. I have a factory stereo, 12 cd changer, amp. So I went into Best buy and the dude said that oh you would have to really change the wiring to get a amp that we sell to work. So I took my dead amp over to circuit city and the guy said that I could do it with unique wiring schemes, but If i ran a aftermarket amp on a factory stereo, speakers, cd changer, that it would blow my speakers? Is this true?????
Also, if it is possible to buy a aftermarket amp to work with a factory setup in my 95 GS300, what kind of amp should i get, power wise, channel wise......etc (any models of amps would be really helpful) What kind of wiring would I have to do if it is possible.
