Default kicker L7

what do you guys think of how i should install my 12inch L7 with a rockford bd1000 amp

mount it on the rear deck through the factory 10" hole yes it will be cut to fit and the box will just be mounted on the rear deck
or
ported box
or
sealed

this is going in a 2002 gs300

I say however you mount it, do it with a ported box. I had a single L7 in my old suburban with an Xtant amp and a big ported box and it pounded pretty good. I still have the box but it would be too big (and ugly) for the GS. It'd be cool to mount it on the back deck with a box attached underneath with a port in it (need a box, it wouldn't be good free air). I don't know how much you have to spend, but that would be something unique. I don't remember seeing any Lexes with the L7 before.
