Unhappy Weird Audio Sound Troubles..

OK, This is probably one of the weirdest posts I have ever done...

Just installed a new system into my 98 GS300. 6.5" Boston Pro's all around, alpine 5 channel V12 amp, JL 10W3 sub in enclosure.

Everything sounds great and it meets and exceeds my expectations for audio because I'm not much of an audio nut.

Now for the problem that I have yet to figure out..

Everytime I listen to the music, low or loud, I get a BOOMING headache. I have tried messing with both the treble and bass but have had no success. Does anyone have any idea why I would be getting a headache no matter what the sound level is in the car?

Bone:
I begin to wonder whether your system is putting out some high frequency noise that you aren't hearing, something near or above 20KHz. It may be irritating to your nervous system, and the result is a headache in your case. You may want to have a qualified shop or person do some good audio measurements on your system, and some signal measurments with a spectrum analyzer. What happens when you drive without your system on at all? No headache, I assume???

On the funnier side, stop listening to Allman Brothers. (sorry if you're too young to get that...)

Thanks for your response. I was beginning to think people would think im crazy. When theres no music, no head ache at all. The treble seemed a bit high pitched so i've turned it all the way down.. and I'm beginning to think maybe I should turn down the mids too. I was reading a few threads up and pcmw made a post about being careful about having rear speakers and ahve to turn down bass and what not so I'm gonna try that. The funny thing is I just had this system installed less than a week ago by a highly qualified shop.

Any other tips you can offer would be great. Thanks again.

EDIT: By the way, what part of NJ are u in?

Take two TYLENOL tablets at least half an hour before you get into your car. Should solve the problem.

UPDATE: I turned down the mid's a little and reduced the bass a bit and the headaches have gone away for a little. I'm going to fine tune the system and see if that helps out.

Thanks for the advice guys.
